Inference 100% on national territory already existed at Maritaca, but it was only available to customers with a specific contract. It is now open to everyone: just call the model by name with the br-sp suffix, and processing is carried out entirely in Brazil.
They are the same Sabiá family models, with the same capabilities, the same context window and the same training data. The only difference is where inference happens: on infrastructure in Brazil (São Paulo region), so that no data sent in the prompt leaves the country. This is what meets use cases with data sovereignty and residency requirements.

Capabilities, context window and training data are identical to the standard versions. The only difference is where inference happens, and the price.
Who it’s for
The br-sp versions address use cases where the data sent in the prompt cannot leave national territory: by law (such as Brazil’s LGPD, for sensitive personal data), by a public-sector requirement, or by a contractual clause. Some examples of queries that can now run on Sabiá:
“Summarize this medical record and list current medications and possible interactions.”
“Extract the parties, the claim and the amount in dispute from this complaint.”
“Classify these incoming official letters by subject and responsible department.”
“Analyze these statements and flag transactions outside the account holder’s pattern.”
In all of these cases, the br-sp versions guarantee that processing happens entirely in Brazil.
Pricing
The cost is 30% higher than the standard versions. In exchange, there is a guarantee that all inference happens in Brazil. The values below are per million tokens.
